This Privacy Policy Statement sets out the privacy policy and practices of D’Ventures Enterprise Limited (“we”, “us”,“our” or “D’Ventures”), for the purposes of complying with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of the personal data that we collect, use and process inconnection with the services, products, events, activities, promotions, workspaces, event spaces, and facilities that we offer and/or support (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy Statement describes how we collect, use, handle and protect your personal data, which is any information that is capableof identifying an individual. When an individual provides personal data to us, they are agreeing to be governed by this Privacy Policy Statement.

• Community initiatives – for the purposes of administering, managing, and supporting community engagement, co-learning and social impact initiatives;
• Personnel records – for the purposes of recruitment, appointment and human resource management; and
• Other administration and operational records – for various purposes of operating and properly discharging the functions of D’Ventures.

Our use of your personal data depends on how and where you interact with us. In some situations, the collection of personal data may be required for the operation of our website and social media account, booking and access control systems, or the provision of certain Services, events or other activities.

We may take photographs and/or video recordings during events and/or activities in connection with your engagement with us for documentation, communications and promotional purposes. Such materials may be published in print, electronic, social media or other media, including our website and social media account(s). If we are marketing to you, we will also do so with your consent or where otherwise permitted by law. We will not provide your personal data to third parties for direct marketing or other unrelated purposes without your consent.

Third-Party Websites, Applications and Platforms

We may provide links to third-party websites or information to our users. You may also connect your mobile device to or use third-party applications and/or platforms for bookings and door access in connection with our Services. This Privacy Policy Statement does not cover third-party websites that we link to, nor the collection and processing of your personal data by third-party applications and/or platforms. Linked sites and those applications may have their own privacy policies and terms of use which you should review. We do not endorse or sponsor, nor are we responsible for, any third-party websites, the content or information contained therein, or their privacy practices.

• appropriate persons in D’Ventures, The D. H. Chen Foundation and/or entities established thereunder for the management and administration of the Services;

• third-party service providers who we engage to provide or perform services, functions, events and/or activities to support our interactions with you;

We maintain processes designed to ensure that any processing of personal data by such third-party service providers is consistent with this Privacy Policy Statement to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of your personal data.

Your personal data will be stored securely in our system and all practical steps will be taken to ensure that your personal data will not be kept longer than is necessary for fulfilling the purpose of collection (including any directlyrelated purpose). We retain personal data if it is necessary to support ourinteraction with you. We may also retain personal data for longer than the duration of our engagement for legal and/or regulatory reasons, or for analysis or record-keeping. Where you agree (or where otherwise permitted by law), we will send you information about any promotions, community initiatives, marketing or other activities which maybe of interest to you, according to available methods of communication. Even after you agree and ask us to send you information, you can always unsubscribe or withdraw your consent at any time, and we shall stop sending you materials by way of direct marketing. You have the right to request access to, and correct information held by us about you. When handling a data access/correction request, we will check the identity of the requestor to ensure that he/she is the person legally entitled to make the data access/correction request. We may charge a fee for processing any data access request.

We may revise this Privacy Policy Statementfrom time to time. All versions of the Privacy Policy Statement are dated withthe effective date of that version of the privacy policy. Our processing ofpersonal data we collected about you will be governed by the most recent privacy policy in effect.
